Rachel McPhee is a New York City based actress and Producer hailing from Racine,  Wisconsin. Rachel quite literally grew up in the theatre, her father was the Artistic director of the Racine Theatre Guild and Rachel spent her formative years there, making her stage debut at age six in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. Rachel's love for theatre continued, performing in numerous school productions throughout her elementary, middle and high school  years.

After graduating high school,  Rachel enrolled at the University of Wisconsin- Madison; majoring in Theatre: Acting Specialist and History. Again Rachel immersed herself fully in the theatre and graduated in the summer of 2005. Her next step was a post graduate program at The Drama Studio London in the UK. Rachel enrolled there after an inspirational trip to London the previous year where she fell in love with the city and it's vibrant theatre scene. Here, she spent an intensive year  being classically trained in a true British fashion. During her time in the UK, she built relationships and honed work skills that would prove invaluable in her professional life as an actor. Not to mention she met her husband, actor/playwright, Rob Benson, whilst training!

Upon graduating from The  Drama Studio London Rachel headed for the Big Apple, where she felt her love of all things artistic would be best served. Rachel dove straight into the city's theatrical melting pot and within a month began performing in numerous off- off Broadway shows.  Interested in creating her own opportunities and work in the fledgling economy,  she linked up with another Madison graduate, Jackie LaVanway and On The Square Productions was born. Rachel now balances and infuses her work as an actress with being Executive Director of OTSP. The award winning indie company can list 59e59, the Flea and Planet Connections Festivity amongst their credits. Most notably, Rachel has worked at The Pearl Theatre,The Flea and had TV appearances on Guiding Light. She resides with her husband and kitty, Romeo, in Astoria.
